Ashley Holtsclaw, MA, LPC, ALPS, NCC, BC-TMH, ASDCS, CCTP, C-DBT at Inspiring Horizons offers Mental Health Counseling to Children, Adolescents, and Adults. She uses evidence-based approaches in her counseling practice to help people achieve results and improve their outcomes. Her passion is to see people make the desired changes in their life and see families progress in counseling to improve attachments, repair familial bonds and positively navigate their relationships healthier. 

Her Theoretical Orientation is primarily Eclectic comprised by Humanistic and Solution-Focused which means she believes everyone has individual strengths, are the expert of their own lives, and can do better when they gain insight or self-awareness to achieve their desired results through a structured and supportive guidance approach. 

Ashley Holtsclaw (she/her), a West Virginia native earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from West Virginia State University and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, an Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, Board Certified Tele-Mental Health provider, Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. 

Her work experience in Community Mental Health and with Co-Occurring Disorders has shaped her down-to-earth demeanor to help community members, children, and families to overcome barriers, foster growth and enhance resiliency at home, at school, and within the community. She utilizes Solution-Focused techniques to help individuals achieve goals, reframe conditioned responses, and modify their ultimate outcomes by reducing their mental health symptoms while improving functioning across life domains.
